These are our terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Pet Works reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online. Your continued use of the Pet Works website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified.

Pet Works does not guarantee that the functions and/or material on the website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or represents the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the materials.

Site Usage

You are permitted to print and download extracts from the Pet Works website for your own use, however documents or related graphics on the website may not be modified in any way. Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material are owned by Pet Works or its licensors.

Card Payment Security

Pet Works know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. If you place any order with us, in respect of that order you will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you place your order.

Availability

All goods offered are subject to availability and Pet Works reserves the right to withdraw any item without notice. Occasionally we will sell out of an item of stock and may receive orders before we can update the website. If you order an item that is out of stock we will inform you as soon as possible to offer a refund or an alternative item. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery

All orders are processed within 1 working day and delivery is expected to be within 3 to 4 working days, unless specified. We can despatch to an alternative daytime address if required. If for any reason we cannot adhere to our stated delivery timescale then we will contact you to advise you of the situation.

The delivery service is subject to stock availability and the time your order is placed on the web shop. The average delivery times apply once your order has been dispatched, but please bear in mind that our offices and despatch  operate from Monday to Friday  9am-5.30pm only, so therefore orders placed over a weekend will be processed on the following Monday (excluding Bank holiday Mondays ).

 

For some items we rely on third party’s to execute your order and we will use our best endeavours to ensure they meet our delivery standards. Collar tags are individually engraved to order and therfore take 7-10 days to arrive from order. Arden Grange products are shipped on behalf of Petworks by Arden Grange directly to you the customer by their courier service and are therefore delivered seperately from any other products you may order from this site.

Some higher value items may require a signature upon receipt as proof of delivery so please bear this in mind when ordering.

Our delivery charges are stated at checkout.

Cancellation, Returns & Refunds

Pet Works want all of our customers to be fully satisfied with their purchase.  If your purchase does not meet your expectations or for whatever reason you change your mind, you may send the product back, un-opened and in its original condition within 7 days of the delivery date (the date the customer receives the product). We will reimburse you in full on receipt of the returned goods in our warehouse.  You will, however, be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us (unless these goods are faulty or have been delivered by us in error).

For faulty or damaged products, please contact our customer service department.  We will be happy to send a replacement item or refund as soon as we receive the faulty product.  In this case, all delivery costs will be covered by us.

For all returns, please contact us by replying  back to the shipment notification that we emailed to you (so that we know your order ID) and tell us how the item is defective or on other forms of communication state clearly your order reference number and reason for wanting to return. We will then advise you from there.

Personalised Goods

Personalised goods, such as collar tags or horse passports, are produced to order and therefore cannot be cancelled or refunded. However, if the personalised goods are found to be defective, you have the right to exchange it for an exact replacement within 7 seven working days after the day on which you received it. Please reply back to the shipment notification that we emailed to you (so that we know your order ID) and tell us how the item is defective. We will email you the address for returns. Upon receipt of the item, we will send a replacement.

Ordering Process

A customer order is deemed to be in place by when you have completed the ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. Pet Works will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.
Pet Works acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. We will send you a despatch confirmation by email. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

Pet Works may refuse to accept an order:

(a) where goods are not available;
(b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(c) if there has been a pricing or product description error;
(d) if you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions; or
(e) if the text you requested has the potential to cause offence.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in GB pounds sterling.
All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rate.
Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this Website.

Disclaimer

While Pet Works endeavours to ensure that the information on the Website is correct, Pet Works does not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on the website. Pet Works may make changes to the material on the website, or to the products and prices described in it, at any time without notice.

All information provided on this web site is provided by knowledgeable sources, but we take no responsibility for any death or injury caused to either owner or pet if information is incorrect or misunderstood.

Mistakes happen from time to time and we try our best to represent all information and products as best we can. If any information or pictures misrepresent the pictures or information provided, please contact us and report the errors.   Many images used for products are supplied by the manufacturer who often update or upgrade their products.  If you receive a product and are not satisfied we have represented it properly, please contact our customer service department, who will be happy to resolve the issue.

Our liability

Pet Works endeavours to ensure that any product purchased through the website is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for all the purposes for which products of the kind are commonly supplied.

Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased.
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
